Welcome to the Official Website of Warhawk Wrestling! The 2008-2009 team is primed and ready for the preseason training to start. Working off the leadership of returning state Champions Anthony Fretwell and Evan Warrington and the drive of placers Kavon Saddler and Jordan Turpin the Warhawks are looking to capture another state title and flow into the successful tradition head coach Marty Hutsell has grown accustomed to. If you are new to Warhawk Wrestling let us take the time to thank you and welcome your son or daughters participation and involvement in the team.

The holiday season is underway and the warhawks once again embarked on a relentless schedule of 25 matches in 2 weeks. Starting out at the Tommy Warren Duals, Then traveling to the Callaway Invitational and on to the Kyle Maynard Duals. With 2 stops and about 10 more matches to go the squad is in great shape mentally and physically. With a 3rd place finish at some of the toughest duals thus far in the season throughout the state coach Hutsell is feeling pretty good about their performance thus far.

"A lot of teams aren't even practicing through out the holidays let alone competing at the level we are. After this week the guys will be ready to compete for another state title." The final dual against Kennesaw Mountain also served as Hutsell's 500th dual meet victory which is a monumental acheivement. Marty will secure his place amonst the top 40 all time high coaches with more than 500 dual meet wins. The guys are back in action at the Lagrange Duals Decmber 30th and at the Super Duals January 2nd and 3rd.
